Creativation Idea-ology sample

Hello friends
Hope you are all good!
Just a really quick post today to share with you another
one of my samples that I created for Tim Holtz
Idea-ology booth at Creativation 2018

This was a lot of fun to create...
I used a printer tray as the base, covered it in a mixture of Tim's papers
I added one of the new collage frames along with a frame from the framed panels....I then
got to work using distress paints to grunge them up!
The background is made up of the Milk caps....  I love this paper doll boy with his dog ( painted using distress paints)
I then added some of the gears, facets and locks....all Idea-ology!
To finish I added rulers, some stitching and a clipboard
I hope you like the the sample
As always feel free to leave a comment,
sorry its a quick post....
I will be back very soon with the last of my samples
Have a great weekend!

  1. This was one of my favorites from the show!! So many cool elements, like the milk cap background...genius! And I love your painting technique on the frame, clip and knobs. It looked so perfectly vintage. This really did wow me! ❤️

  2. Kaz you should be so very proud indeed of your sample, it truly is amazing!! Your designing skills are the best and inspirational to all ❤️

  3. Love the vintage look of this piece! The milk cap background is a great design idea. TFS Kaz!

  4. I love both! I love how you achieve the perfect vintage look without any paint in your background. Beautiful!

  5. I love the milk cap background!! The deep rich colors of this piece are perfection!!

Thanks so much for passing by the little shabby shed....your comments mean so much xx
