Hello friends
I hope you are all good!
Today I had a snow day, which meant I couldn't get into my day job
due to the "Beast from the East" snow storm....its been so cold here in the UK
it hasn't helped that my boiler has seized due to the frozen pipes, so at the moment I have no central heating or hot water....Thank goodness for our log burner!
As cold as it has been, it has allowed me to finish this panel of grunge, that I started earlier in the week...
Due to other commitments and recent deadlines, Ive not really had chance to create for myself,
something that I've really missed..... so today I made time just for me!
The panel is an offcuts of plywood that I save from the log burner...
I've used a real mixture of lots of different products on this, sometimes
I forget to use all the stash I have stuffed away, so this was great
to experiment with products I already have.
The star is mounted on an old vintage camera lens from my stash,
I attached some rusty wire around it
I've used lots of layers, stencils, mediums, paints...it was a anything goes kind of make!
As always please feel free to leave a comment, I appreciate each and every one
I really hope that the snow clears up soon....we are in March right?
Have a great weekend
Kaz
